Outfit ideas no.30 (New Yorker addiction)

Hi, everybody! I've been meaning to post this outfit for about a week or two, but my laptop's been having some issues. It is a spring outfit, but for a quite chilly day - hence the boots! I've had a lovely day with my boyfriend in a nearby park, and we thought we'd grab the camera to shot a few outfit photos. Hope you enjoy this!

What I'm wearing:
1. Black skinny jeans (from New Yorker)    2. Beige top (from New Yorker)    3. Plum cardigan (from New Yorker)    5. Vintage necklace (from Avon)    6. Brown boots (local store)   7. Vintage bag (from my mom)

As you can tell from the description above, I've become quite obsessed with New Yorker..haha! :) They have really great things, or at least I know I can always find something I like in their stores. I've always loved the beige-brown combo, as you might know, and the plum in the cardigan is just a plus for me, cause it adds a bit more color to the outfit. I absolutely love those boots, but now that it's getting warmer I've switched to flats and sandals.

Let me know what you think! Thanks for taking the time to read this!

9. New cream sandals  10. Disturbing my napping puppy  11. Yummy avocado breakfast  12. New Kate Moss Lipstick

Savory Sunday: Radish & Eggs Breakfast Idea

Welcome to my first food-related post (I think!). As a quick introduction, wanted to mention that cooking, trying out new recipes and trying to eat healthier have become things of greater interest to me lately than in the past. I've tried out various recipes I found online, I've even "created" a few myself (although I'm sure all my cookings have already been discovered by other people) and I've decided that maybe I could feature all of this on my blog..hoping you will get some ideas on what to eat, what to cook or maybe just make you drool over this webpage..haha! :)

Therefore, I am starting this new series on my blog, which will hopefully be up every week, called Savory Sunday! As a quick disclaimer, I wanted to say that I am aware that these recipes have all been presented and probably cooked way better by other people, but I'm giving you here my experience. If I have a link to some webpage that inspired me to do this post, I'll leave it at the end of the post. These posts are gonna be kinda like "What I ate this week worth mentioning".

Today I'm showing you what I ate a few days ago for breakfast. It's a pretty quick recipe, very easy to do and pretty damn delicious! Not to mention healthy... Here it goes:

I've firstly sliced the radishes and spread them on a big plate.

I've boiled two eggs, crumbled them with a fork and then added a little mustard, sour cream and, obviously, some salt and pepper. It turned out like an egg-cream.. sort of.

And then I added the green onion cut into small pieces for decorative purposes... My boyfriend loved this recipe, so thanks to Lucy Mercer for coming up with this idea!
It was really delicious and as you know, radishes have negative calories (which means they burn fat) and eggs have proteins, so I think this might just be a perfect recipe to start your day!

Would you try out this recipe? Let me know below! Thanks for reading!

Outfit ideas no.29 (Feeling spring-ish)

Such lovely days we've been having lately! Filled with sun and warmth...oh, how I love spring! That's probably the reason why I've been in the mood for taking some outfit pictures. Now that the warm season is here, expect more!

For this outfit I chose a floral inspired chiffon shirt and some simple skinny jeans, paired with flip-flops and my adored leather bag. As for accessorizing, I sported my mint earrings, which I'm absolutely in love with, and then I got some peachy nail polish on, to match the pastel theme. Kept my hair in a simple low braid, cause I wanted the earrings to stand out more...and that's all there is to it.

Before I "let you go", I wanted to share with you a few EXCITING NEWS, both for me and for you - I hope!!! Firstly, I finally got out of the cave (cause that's what I've been feeling like..haha) and made an Instagram account, so since I'm new there, I would love it if you could check my profile and maybe leave me yours in a comment below, so that we can become friends there!! Secondly, I'm super excited because I just became a Youtube partner, which means I can finally upload my own thumbnails (yaaay!) - No more crappy shots of me- haha! :) Definitely come and see me on those sites too. I hope you enjoyed this outfit post!

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Have a lovely day!

Beauty Haul: Rimmel, Garnier, Elf

Hello! I'm welcoming you back to another post, as I've recently been purchasing a few more beauty items I wanted to try out.I won't be making a full review on these products here, but I'll give you some first impressions on them, since I've already given them a go - obviously, I couldn't wait! :)

Firstly, I ordered a few new Elf products, but I only had two of them to show you (the rest of them were taken into possession by my mother..haha!). I've been meaning to try the Studio Blushes and this peach/coral color is something that caught my eye the second I saw it on their website. The color is called Peachy Keen and it's really gorgeous and subtle (yet nicely pigmented) and it has tiny shimmer through it, so it gives a nice glow to your cheeks. As for the Face Brush, I like that it's soft and I would say it's a great value for the money I spent on it.

This Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara has got so many mixed reviews that I was compelled to get it and see for myself what it's all about. So far, I'm pretty pleased with it. It was really inexpensive and it is a really black - black, if you know what I mean. The downside is that it can get a bit clumpy if you're not careful when you apply it, but other than that.. no bad things to say about it.

This is definitely not new if you've been reading my blog for a while. I am in love with this Garnier BB Cream and this is the second one I've purchased, as I'm all out of my old one. I like the consistency, the scent, the coverage.. if you'd like to know more about it you can check out this review post.

Finally, when I bought the Garnier BB Cream, I received this Garnier Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin. I was excited to see this because I have tried the toner from this "Sensitive Skin" collection and really liked it. I haven't tried it yet, cause I'm still working on finishing up my other makeup remover, but once I do try it, I'll let you know how I like it.

Alrighty, I hope you enjoyed my little haul! Have any of you tried these products? What do you think of them?

Thank you for taking the time to read this!
